Residency Application Information
The OB/GYN Residency Program at Saint Joseph Hospital encourages and welcomes all qualified individuals to apply for a residency position. Admission is highly competitive and applicants can be expected to have a first time USMLE score of 210 or higher. At this time, COMLEX scores are not accepted. Applications are submitted via ERAS (see below). Generally, interviews are scheduled in December and January and toward the end of the week. Occasionally, we will allow interviews for resident applicants outside the regular interview periods. There are a number of hotels within easy commute of our hospital. Once in Denver, applicants are invited to one of our resident's homes for a "meet and greet party". There, they will have an opportunity to meet our residents, ask questions and get to know us better. This is in addition to our formal interviews at which time you will meet a number of our faculty and other residents, tour the hospital and have lunch together. If you have time, you may wish to spend a day or so visiting the Denver area as well as the Rocky Mountains and getting an appreciation for what our city has to offer.
Please apply to our program through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). For information on ERAS please access their web site at http://www.aamc.org/. We are accepting applications through November.
