The Seton Women's Center is conveniently located on the Exempla Saint Joseph Hospital campus. Although the Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth, Kansas have provided women's services at Saint Joseph Hospital for over a century, the services grew so much and had such unique cases that Exempla Saint Joseph Hospital opened this clinic as its own entity in 2003. In 2008, the clinic delivered OB/GYN care to over 8000 women and this figure is expected to increase. The Seton Women's Center, staffed by OB/GYN residents, offers obstetrical and gynecological care to low-income women. The residents strive to deliver the highest quality care to our patients.
The Seton Women's Center believes that all women have the right to impartial access to care. No one is denied access to treatment because of sexual orientation, disability, national origin, age, color, race, religion, source of payment, or ability to pay. The clinic participates in Colorado State and Presumptive Eligibility Medicaid Programs as well as Medicare. The clinic also participates with many other commercial insurance companies.
