Meet our Physicians:

Michelle Cassara MD

Dr Cassara is a native of Colorado, but resided in North Carolina for the past several years. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Colorado at Boulder and received her medical degree for the University of Vermont. Prior to joining Exempla, during the past seven years, Dr Cassara completed her residency in Internal Medicine, served as chief resident, and finished her fellowship in Endocrinology and Metabolism. She remained on faculty as Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of North Carolina prior to her return to Colorado. Dr Cassara is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Endocrinology and Metabolism. Her philosophy of patient care is that it is a blend of relationship, expertise, and availability.  

Andrea Salzberg MD

Dr. Salzberg received her undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College and continued her education at the University of Maryland School of Medicine where she completed her medical degree. Dr. Salzberg completed her internal medicine residency at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center and went on to earn her fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism at the University of Colorado - Denver. She is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism.
