Dr. Brian Shannon

Dr. Brian Shannon earned his medical degree at Vanderbilt University and completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Wisconsin. He completed a fellowship in sports medicine at the Southern California Center for Sports Medicine. Dr. Shannon has been involved in several research trails as well as contributing to specialty publications including AANA Advanced Arthroscopy: The Knee. He is a member of the American Acadamey of Orthopedic Surgeons, Arthroscopy Association of North America and American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine. Dr. Shannon specializes in treating musculoskeletal injuries and diseases, including joint replacement.

Dr. Jeremy Kinder

Dr. Jeremy Kinder is an orthopedic surgeon who earned his medical degree from Rush Medical College in Chicago where he graduated as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. He furthered his postgraduate training at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine where he completed his internship in general surgery and his residency in orthopedic surgery. Following his residency, Dr. Kinder continued his training with a one year fellowship focusing on total joint reconstruction at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. There he learned techniques in minimally invasive hip and knee replacement as well as revision total joint surgery.

Dr. Kinder truly cares for his patients and emphasizes clear communication and shared decision making along with the involvement of family. He has extensive training in orthopedic surgery and focuses on comprehensive care of patients with arthritis. Dr. Kinder also has a specific interest in complex total joint reconstruction.

Dr. John Lankeneau, Spine Surgeon

Dr. John Lankeneau

Dr. Lankenau is a board certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic spine surgeon, treating spinal disorders with both surgical and non-surgical techniques. He is a member of the North American Spine Society and a diplomat of the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery.

Maintaining his practice at Lutheran Medical Center, Dr. Lankenau is one of the most experienced spine surgeons in the Denver Metropolitan area. He performs a full spectrum of spinal surgical procedures using state-of-the art techniques. Dr. Lankenau's practice involves comprehensive treatment of the spine with special interests in complex surgery such as repeat or revision surgery, deformity, scoliosis, minimally invasive surgery, disc-replacements and degenerative conditions of the spine including spinal stenosis.

After receiving his undergraduate degree in engineering, Dr. Lankenau completed his medical degree at the University of Colorado. Graduating cum laude, Dr. Lankenau was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. Recognized as a Marion Adler Scholar, Dr. Lankenau received both the Lange Award for the outstanding junior medical student and the Clarence Maaske Award for meritorious laboratory performance.

Dr. Lankenau completed his residency in Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Colorado. Continuing his education, Dr. Lankenau was trained at one of the nation's top-rated spine fellowship programs. Mentored by leading spine surgeons, Dr. Lankenau completed his fellowship at the world-renowned Rancho Los Amigos Spine Center in California.

Using his engineering background, Dr. Lankenau has served as a lead design surgeon on several spinal implantation devices. As a design surgeon, Dr. Lankenau has pioneered advances in technology and continues to be on the leading edge of spinal care.
