Exempla West Pines Recovery Center offers the chance for a better life to those suffering from alcohol and drug addictions and emotional disorders and to those close to them.

The Recovery Center is a two-week residential substance abuse treatment facility now open and newly renovated, more like a hotel than a hospital, on the campus of West Pines Behavioral Health.

The Center helps make recovery a reality through our unique, short-term, inpatient program. The program uses the most current evidence-based drug rehab and drug addiction treatment, such as cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavioral therapy that are proven effective in treating alcoholism, substance abuse, addiction. And because we know addiction affects the entire person - body, mind and spirit - West Pines promotes a holistic approach that includes exercise, acupuncture and mindfulness, all designed to give our patients established tools in the fight against addictions, rapid opiate detox, dual diagnosis, bi-polar and co-occurring disorders so they can enter the road to a successful recovery. Fitness and sports programming for inpatients and outpatients will be provided by the recovery center's partner, Phoenix Multisport, a non-profit organization whose mission is to foster a supportive, physically active community for individuals who are recovering from alcohol and substance abuse.
