Leadership of the Cancer Center

And ACoS Approved Cancer Program at ELMC is provided by the Cancer Committee. This Committee consists of physicians from diagnostic and treatment specialties as well as non physicians from administrative and supportive services. Physicians' specialties include surgery, urology, medical oncology, radiation oncology, diagnostic radiology and pathology. Non physician members include hospital administration, nursing, case management, quality decision support, performance improvement, cancer registry, hospice, ethics, cancer services, clinical research and palliative care.

The diversity of Cancer Committee provides ELMC with the ability to assess and make any improvements needed in the areas of diagnosis, care, treatment, and support for patients and their families.

In addition to patient care the Cancer Committee monitors all areas at ELMC related to cancer.
