Our Heart Center Services include: |
- Four state of the art Cath Labs to provide angiography based diagnostic testing to evaluate the heart's chambers, valves and overall function. Coronary interventions and treatment options include Balloon angioplasty, Coronary stenting, intracoronary ultrasound and rotational coronary angioplasty.
- An Electrophysiology Lab for cardiac arrhythmia management, from intensive diagnosis of abnormal rhythms to intervention with Pacemaker or Internal defibrillator implantations.
- A pre and post observation unit provides a central location to prepare as well as recover patients having an Invasive cardiac procedure as well as special procedures such as Transesophageal Echocardiography and Cardioversions.

Our noninvasive cardiology suite offers patients and physicians an array of comprehensive cardiac testing options.
- Exercise stress testing including pharmacological nuclear stress tests to detect heart problems that may not be apparent at rest.
- Echocardiography, a test utilizing ultrasound waves to examine the heart.
- EKG, Event monitoring and 24 hour Holter monitoring to evaluate heart rhythm and possible abnormalities.
- Noninvasive Vascular tests help to diagnose peripheral arterial disease.

- An American Thoracic Society registered Pulmonary Function testing lab to evaluate breathing problems that are affected by the lungs as well as the heart.
- A beautiful fiberoptic bronchoscopy suite in a specially equipped negative airflow room.
- Additional pulmonary procedures including thoracentesis, transtracheal oxygen insertion and management and oxygen arrangements for patients leaving the hospital on oxygen.

Cardiac Health and Rehabilitation
A nationally certified, patient centered program that emphasizes a personalized approach to heart recovery through the key components of exercise, education and encouragement. The program features
- Closely monitored exercise sessions.
- Active family involvement through support groups and educational classes.
- Individual consultations and group seminars that focus on management of heart disease, diet changes, exercise and risk factors (cholesterol, stress, smoking, high blood pressure).

Getting Around |
- Directions From the Main Lobby, proceed to the elevator sign. Turn Left toward the South Wing Elevators. Take the elevator to the third floor Heart Center reception.
- Parking is available in front of the hospital. Free valet parking and free parking with validation.
- Registration and check-in are done at the Heart Center reception desk upon your arrival.
- Your Family is welcome to accompany you. There is a comfortable waiting area in the Heart Center while you are having your test.
- A physician specializing in Cardiology or Vascular studies reads test results. The test interpretations are sent to your personal physician, who will contact you with the results.
