What is Centering Pregnancy™? 
  • Group prenatal care that combines physical assessments with time for discussion and learning about pregnancy, birth, and babies. 
  • Groups consist of 10-12 women who will all have their babies around the same time. 
  • Group prenatal care begins when you are 16-20 weeks pregnant, and continues throughout your pregnancy.
What are the Benefits of Centering?
  • Get to meet other pregnant women and make new friends. 
  • No waiting! Group will start and end on time. 
  • Snacks will be available at every group session. 
  • You will spend more time with your midwife. 
  • You will be more active in your prenatal care.
How can I be a part of Centering? 
  • Tell your nurse-midwife that you are interested in this exciting opportunity. 
  • Groups start frequently. You will be invited to join a group with other women who are due around the same time as you.
