Grief Support Groups
For those who have lost a loved one. No pre-registration required. Every second and fourth Wednesday from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm. First and third Thursday from 10 am to 11:30 am. Meet in Collier Hospice Center, 3210 Lutheran Parkway. For details, call 303-425-8000. Attendance is free but donations are accepted.
Grief Education for Bereaved Spouses and Partners
A six-week workshop for spouses/partners who have been bereaved for four months or longer. Meets in Collier Hospice Center, 3210 Lutheran Parkway. We will have two (2) offerings for this workshop. FEE is $30.00. This is by registration only. Call for application and details. 303-403-7283
Hospice Volunteer Orientation and Training
For volunteers who wish to serve in the home hospice program or in Collier Hospice Center. The next series is early fall. Time is 8:00 am to 3:00 pm. Call for an application and details 303-403-7274.
Memorial Services - To honor loved ones who have died in our hospice program within the prior three months.
- November 4
- Services are at 7:00 pm. Due to major construction on the ELMC campus, Memorial Services are temporarily being held at Wheat Ridge United Methodist Church near ELMC (7530 West 38th Avenue). Parking is located on the south side of the church.
Coping with Grief Through the Holidays

Dragonfly Program
A seven-week grief support group for children aged 6-12 and their parent/guardian. Meets in Collier Hospice Center, 3210 Lutheran Parkway. Our next group session is scheduled for each consecutive Thursday, August 27 through October 8, 2009. Time is 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Call for details and registration. 303-403-7274.
Circle of Support
Support group for caregivers who are caring for a terminally or seriously ill person; no pre-registration required. First and third Tuesdays, 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. Meets in Collier Hospice Center, 3210 Lutheran Parkway. For details, call 303-467-4828.
