The Caritas Clinic is located one-half block north of Exempla Saint Joseph Hospital on the third floor of the Midtown Medical Center II. Parking is available in the Midtown parking lot or the Humboldt Garage.

Services
The Caritas Clinic is a resident run clinic that strives to deliver the highest quality of care to our patients. We provide acute illness intervention and chronic disease management, as well as prevention-based counseling and screening. All residents are supervised by an attending physician.
Medical Services include:
Internal Medicine Clinic - Residents supervised by attending physicians promote preventative care along with treating a broad spectrum of adult illnesses to include heart, lung and gastrointestinal diseases, diabetes, high blood pressure, elevated cholesterol, arthritis and others.
Surgery Clinic - Pre and post-operative care for minor and major surgical procedures accomplished in either inpatient or outpatient settings.
All necessary hospitalization is coordinated at Exempla Saint Joseph Hospital, a not-for-profit institution known for providing low cost and high quality healthcare.
Payment for Services
The Clinic has a "sliding fee schedule" program. Patients are given the opportunity to discuss their financial situation privately with the business office staff. No patient is denied service due to the inability to pay.
The clinic participates in State and PCP Medicaid Program. It is necessary to present your current Medicaid card to the receptionist when checking in.
The Clinic participates in the Medicare Program. We accept Medicare assignment for all charges that are covered by Medicare.
The clinic participates with One Health Plan PPO, Pacificare, Secure Horizons, as well as other insurance plans. Please call your insurance company to inquire.
Your Healthcare Team
On your first visit you will be assigned to a resident physician who will be primarily responsible for your care. All resident physicians are supervised by an attending. They will continue as your primary healthcare provider team. Every effort is made to schedule your appointments with your regular resident physician, but at times you may be seen by a different resident physician or by a nurse practitioner.
When you call the Clinic to speak with your physician, the secretary will take your name and phone number and relay the message. The physician or nurse will return your call as soon as possible.
A physician is on-call for your assistance after hours and on weekends at (303) 318-2250. If you need after-hours care, please check with your physician before going to the emergency room. In case of a life-threatening emergency, please call 911.
