It seems today that cancer touches so many lives. We all seem to know and love someone who has been touched by cancer. And now you, too, have heard the dreaded words, "You have cancer." We are confident in telling you that you have come to the right place.

The Exempla Saint Joseph Hospital Comprehensive Cancer Center (ESJH CCC) not only gives you the best medical care possible, it offers you the education and support you'll need to successfully manage your way through this disease and the journey it may take you on. We will be your partners, your confidant, your teacher, your shoulder to cry on, your hope and your healers. Together - with hope and healing - we will battle your cancer.

The first step in our journey together is the Patient Workbook which you can download here. This Workbook is designed to give you information - and a place to store more information - about your cancer care and treatment. It is meant to help you organize the wealth of information you will receive. It is our way of helping you feel more in control over what you are going through.

We also realize that your care team may include more than us at the Comprehensive Cancer Center. We welcome family and friends to the battle, and we encourage you to have your family or friends write down important details in this Workbook as well.

We hope you will find this Patient Workbook helpful and useful. And we are always available to answer questions or listen to concerns. Our journey together begins now.
