Michael A. Slubowski, FACHE, FACMPE
President and CEO, SCL Health System

(Board Chair)

Michael A. Slubowski, FACHE, FACMPE, joined SCL Health System (SCLHS) in January 2011 as president and CEO. Prior to joining SCLHS, he held senior executive management positions for Trinity Health, a multi-state Catholic health care system based in Novi, Mich. He served as President, Health Networks from July 2009 to December 2010, and for the previous four years served as President, Hospital and Health Networks. Slubowski's 35-year career includes leadership positions at Catholic and secular health care systems and hospitals in Michigan and Arizona. In addition, Slubowski serves as Chair of the Exempla Healthcare Board of Directors. He has received a multitude of industry awards, most recently the 2010 Distinguished Service Award from the American College of Healthcare Executives. Slubowski received his bachelor's and master of business administration degrees from Wayne State University and completed an Advanced Leadership in Healthcare Program with the University of Michigan.

Koger L. Propst
President, Sturm Financial Group and American National Bank
(Board Vice Chair)

Koger Propst is President of Sturm Financial and American National Bank, and has more than 30 years of experience in community banking. He was previously President of FirstBank of Colorado, FirstBank of Breckenridge, FirstBank of Northern Colorado and FirstBank of Silverthorne. Propst is the Chair of Community First Foundation board and has served on its board of directors since 2002. He is a state trustee of the Colorado Chapter of The Nature Conservancy, and is a board member of the Colorado Banker's Association. He earned a bachelor's degree in business from the University of Denver and is a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin.

Stephen W. Cobb, MD
Chief Medical Officer, Exempla Physician Network

Stephen W. Cobb, M.D., FAAFP, is a practicing Family Physician and serves as the Chief Medical Officer for the Exempla Physician Network (EPN). EPN is a multi-specialty group practice of 140 clinicians employed by Exempla Healthcare. After completing medical school at the University of Minnesota and residency at the University of Oklahoma, Dr. Cobb practiced in rural Oklahoma for five years. He then spent three years as the Family Medicine Residency Program Director at the University of Oklahoma before the mountains and Saint Joseph Hospital lured him to Denver where he served as Residency Director for four years for the Family Medicine Residency. He then joined EPN in 2007. His clinical practice, Larkridge Family Medicine, is located in Thornton, Colo. He serves on the Board of Directors for Exempla Healthcare and Primary Physician Partners. Outside of medicine, Dr. Cobb enjoys any excuse to be in the mountains with his wife and three sons.

Felix W. Cook, Sr.
Retired, former Director, Technical Service Center, Bureau of Reclamation

As a registered Professional Engineer in Colorado, Felix Cook was appointed by the Governor of Colorado to the Colorado State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers and Professional Land Surveyors in 1984. He was reappointed in 1988 and served as Chairman of the Board from 1988-1989. He served as Director of the Bureau of Reclamation's Technical Service Center from 1992-1999. Cook was appointed to the Exempla Healthcare board of directors in August 2009 and has served on Community First Foundation's board of directors since February 2005. He is a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) volunteer for neglected and abused children, has volunteered for the Habitat for Humanity, and is a member of the Kiwanis Clubs of Jefferson County. He earned an MBA from the University of Denver and bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Southern University.

Lydia Jumonville
Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, SCL Health System

Lydia Jumonville joined SCLHS in June 2010 and serves as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. She has more than 20 years' experience in dynamic integrated health care delivery systems. Previously, Jumonville served as Senior Vice President and CFO of Baylor Health Care System, a 21-hospital system in Dallas with more than 450 employed physicians. She has also provided tax compliance and consulting services to real estate and health care industry clients of Arthur Andersen LLP, in Dallas. Jumonville earned a bachelor's degree in accounting from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, and she is a Certified Public Accountant.

Richard T. Lopes, MD
Senior Vice President of Health Networks, SCL Health System

Dr. Rick Lopes rejoined SCL Health System in May 2011 as Senior Vice President of Health Networks. His earlier roles with SCLHS from 2004 through 2010 included serving on the Board and then joining the management team in positions as Senior Vice President, Chief Clinical Transformation Officer and Interim President/CEO of the Montana Region. Before returning to SCLHS, Dr. Lopes served as Senior Vice President at WellStar Health System and President of WellStar Medical Group in Marietta, Ga. Before 2004, he served in leadership positions with Catholic Health Initiatives in Denver, Catholic Healthcare West and Ochsner Clinic in Louisiana. Dr. Lopes earned a bachelor's degree with distinction from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, followed by a medical degree from the University of Virginia School of Medicine. He has a master's degree from the College of Business at Arizona State University in Tempe. He completed a residency in internal medicine at Yale-New Haven Hospital and is Board Certified in Internal Medicine.

Sister Amy Willcott
Executive Director, Mount Saint Vincent Home

Sister Amy Willcott is a Sister of Charity of Leavenworth who has focused on human services and health care. She started working at Mount Saint Vincent Home (MSVH) as a mental health worker, and has been serving as the MSVH Executive Director since 2004. Sister Amy began her work in human services as the Director of the Foster Grandparent Program at Saint Vincent Hospital and Health Center in Billings, Mont., and Executive Director of Caritas Clinics in Leavenworth, Kan. She earned her master's degree in social work from Boston College. From 1996 through 2003, Sister Amy was Director of Community Health for Exempla Saint Joseph Hospital, where she initiated community health programs and formed collaborations among community agencies.

Marla J. Williams
President and CEO, Community First Foundation

Marla J. Williams joined Community First Foundation in November 2010 as President and CEO. Prior to that, she was a partner with the law firm of Holme Roberts & Owen LLP (HRO), representing nonprofit clients in all aspects of their business. Affiliated with HRO for 21 years, Williams also served as President and CEO of The Women's Foundation of Colorado for seven years and continues to serve as an Honorary Trustee. Williams earned a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University and a Juris Doctor degree from Harvard Law School. Among her professional activities, she is a member of the Colorado, Denver and Colorado Women’s bar associations and also serves on the board of the Colorado Association of Funders and the Colorado Health Institute.

Sally Woolsey
Founder, The Evergreen Group

Sally Woolsey founded The Evergreen Group, a provider of executive coaching and leadership development consulting. She previously served as Vice President, General Manager of Dell's $7-billion small and medium business segment for the U.S. Prior to that, she was Vice President of Operations for FedEx Mid-Atlantic Region. Woolsey earned a degree in business administration from California State University, Sacramento. She received her master's degree in Organizational Leadership from the University of Denver. She serves on the board of Community First Foundation and volunteers with organizations devoted to disadvantaged youth, such as CASA, vMentor and Greenhouse Scholars.
