Time Off 
Residents will receive 22 days of time off to be used for sick days, professional meetings, vacation days, holidays, interview days, etc.
Service to the Institution
PGY1 residents are required to staff during the residency year. It is required that the resident become a licensed pharmacist. Information on becoming licensed in Colorado can be found by visiting the following site: http://www.dora.state.co.us/pharmacy/.
Benefits
All residents funded by EGSMC will receive the same benefits. Benefits listed below will be included:
Health Care: Residents are provided the same medical / dental insurance options as full-time employees
Pagers / Mobile Phone: All residents will be supplied a pager / phone at the beginning of the residency program.
Office: Residents will have a designated office.
Travel: Each resident is given a stipend to assist in meeting the expense of travel to professional meetings as approved by the program director. Required meetings include; ASHP Midyear meeting and the Western States Residency Conference.
