The Bone + Joint Institute is one of a few locations in the nation and the only place in Colorado to offer MAKOplasty® Partial Knee Replacement Robotic Surgery, aiding in reducing the recovery time, post-operative pain and limitations on knee function.
Knee Services
- Total Knee Replacement

- In order to restore normal function of the knee after cartilage loss, a surgery is performed to remove the surface of the joint, shave off the arthritic ends, and replace them with new metal and plastic surfaces. A total knee replacement is considered safe and effective when combined with rehabilitation. For more information, visit our Medical Library: Knee Replacement Surgery
- Revision of Total Knee
- A revision of total knee replacement is when the original components are removed and new ones are installed. The preparation, surgery and recovery are similar to the total knee replacement.
- MAKOplasty® Partial Knee Replacement
- The MAKOplasty® Robotic System FAQ page, the only one of its kind in Colorado, is unique in that it only resurfaces the damaged part of the knee, aiding in the reduction of recovery time, postoperative pain and limitations on knee function.
- Knee Arthroscopy
- Arthroscopy is a procedure in which a joint is viewed using a small camera. It allows an orthopedic surgeon to diagnose and treat knee disorders, such as torn ligaments, loose fragments of bone or cartilage, and torn ligaments.
