Richard Hesky, MD is the Medical Director of the Comprehensive Cancer Center. Dr. Hesky knows that a strength of this cancer center is being locally directed by the physicians and clinical staff providing the patient care. Our Medical Director of Breast Imaging, Jerome Schroeder, MD, went to medical school at the University of Missouri in Kansas City, completed his residency in diagnostic radiology at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, and completed a fellowship in Breast Imaging at University of Colorado Health Sciences Center.
The Breast Care Center provides screening and diagnostic mammography, breast MRI and ultrasound, as well as breast biopsies including ultrasound, stereotactic and MRI-guided biopsies. Quality service, continuity of care, communication among physicians and patient satisfaction all are better when a patient can receive all the care she needs in one place.
