Preparing For Your Baby’s Birth

Pre-Registration

Exempla Lutheran offers two options for pre-registration. You can either register online by clicking on the link below, or call 303-403-3480 and one of our representatives will assist you. Please pre-register as soon as possible, but no later than eight weeks prior to your due date.

Birth by Design

This form provides you an opportunity to share information with our staff that will help us know how we can make your birth special. Please tell us of any unique circumstances, your goals for birth, and ways we can reassure and comfort your during your labor. The form can be mailed, faxed (303-403-6270), or brought directly to our department on the second floor, North Pavilion.

Lactation Services and Support Group

At Exempla Lutheran, we offer free comprehensive lactation services before, during and after birth. We are committed to ensuring that every new mother knows how to breastfeed. We offer:

• Free one-on-one breastfeeding instruction during your hospital stay
• A free follow-up visit three to five days after your baby goes home
• Free breastfeeding support group that meets Wednesday and Thursday mornings 9:30 to 10:30, open to moms that delivered and did not deliver at Exempla Lutheran
• A Breastfeeding Helpline (303) 425-2286 - offering general information and assistance available Monday through Saturday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (After hours call 303-425-8646)
• Nursing Nook with nursing bras from a certified bra fitter, the latest nursing pumps and a multitude of accessories to help you breastfeed with success
• Private breastfeeding consultations by appointment
